Parents Meeting Recap

I know that some of the parents weren't able to come to the parent's meeting last Friday so here is a recap of everything that we talked about.

·       Forms (Due by Mon. but no later than Wed.)

            *They all need to be turned into me before they can play on Wednesday.

o   Hazing

o   Concussions

o   Physicals

o   Team Contract

·       Game schedule

o   Wed. Aug 27^th round robin

o   3 varsity games (20 minutes long)

o   1 JV game (20 minutes long)

 

 

·       Ordering Shirts, Socks and Spandex

 

           I'm sending home an order form that will go over everything that we are ordering and how much it's going to cost. Pay the amount in the office and bring me the receipt. Try to have it paid for by Wednesday I want to try and order as soon as we can so we can have them here for most of the season.

          * Team socks    $9.50

          * Team t-shirts  $31.50

          * Spandex (don't have to order any)   $18.35 for one pair. Two pairs $36.70

 

 

·       Pay $65 to office

o   $55 participation fee

o   $10 Transportation fee

 

·       Practice during school

o   Monday-Thursday: 3:05pm-5:15pm

o   Friday: 2:10pm-4:30pm

 

Congrats to the 2014 Norsemen Volleyball Team

Congratulations on making the team!! My name is Coach Detamore, I'm the new head coach. We also have a new assistant coach which is also Coach Detamore. We are so excited for a fun and exciting season! We can't wait to work with each of you and get you know you better!
Here are some forms that need to be filled out preferably by Friday Aug. 22nd but no later than Monday Aug. 25th. Parents and players take a few minutes to look over and review these forms then turn them in to Coach Detamore. (Either one)

• It has changed this year so everyone will need to get a physical. (no more Form B's) One physical is required each year for every player.

• Pay $65 to the school office. ($55 for the participation fee and $10 for the transportation fee)

              *Today at practice we talked about a few things we wanted to get. Here are prices and we can talk with all the parents and make a final decision after the parent meeting on Friday. I would like to get them ordered as soon as we can.

                             * Black spandex (Game Shorts) $15
                             * 2 pairs of team socks $6.98
                             * 2 t-shirts @ $25

      Parent Meeting @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the gym

          We would like every player to attend with their parents. Try to have at least one parent at this meeting on Friday if they aren't able to make it then we can make plans to get the information to them.

Game Day Treat Schedule

        Parents for Game Day Treats they can be really simple like a Gatorade and a Granola Bar. There are two girls each game expect for the first and last game I have three.

I'll explain it more at the parent meeting but our first game which is Aug. 27th will be a round robin tournament. So the three teams that are listed under North Davis we will be playing.

Players will need...

• Knee pads
• Ankle braces
• Either volleyball shoes or a light tennis shoe (check @ any sporting goods store)
